The weekend is upon us. Let us relax in the glory of the week that transpired; Apple’s unveiling of the iPad and the subsequent negative reaction followed hours later by President Obama’s longest-speech in his career (Huh? You didn’t watch it?). With my creative juices running dry and the impending doom I call a Calculus midterm, I grab my trusty guidebook on what to do when writer’s block strikes and flip over to a dog-eared page:
Plan B: Write an uber-easy list post about something incredibly random, yet easy to write out. (P.S. The audience always loves these types of posts! Remember to not repeat this step more than three times)
The weeks approaching Apple’s product presentation on September 9th, 2009 carried the level of excitement similar to the one we faced heading to the recent January 27th event. Called the “Rock and Roll event”, the main theme of the presentation was expected to focus on the music side of Apple’s business, namely their iPod line. Of course, there was rampant speculation about the third generation iPod Touch as well. Taking some inspiration from The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs, I placed myself into Steve Jobs’ godlike mind and wrote a letter directed to LonePlacebo. Here’s a small excerpt:
Those next couple of months were long and hard (That’s what she said!). Apple’s stock plummeted, then rose up again as those stupid “vermin” who call themselves “stock analysts” continually poisoned the public’s mind toward my sacred company, Apple. But I have finally returned, with a big-ass vengeance…

This guest post was a review of one of my favorite games for the iPod Touch: Baseball Slugger: Home Run Race 3D. I cannot tell you how many hours were lost playing this highly-addictive game because it would make my mother cry to read it (Hi mom!). So, if you like baseball, have an iPhone or iPod Touch (or iPad), and want to hit a baseball like Albert Pujols, check out the game. September 7th, 2009
Please do not read this post in the hopes of actually purchasing this iPhone application. At the time this guest post was published, the app worked wonderfully and I loved it. Then, it went kaput and I no longer endorse it. But, seriously. Read the post anyways. You have too much time on your hands to waste. Waste it by reading the post. September 1st, 2009
Oh my. Another obsolete post that mustn’t be read for the hopes of obtaining the post’s intended purpose. If you want to jailbreak your iPod Touch running on 3.1.2 firmware, check out this post on how to jailbreak using Blackra1n. But, seriously. Read it anyways. Shrug. September 11th, 2009
Absolutely hate the apps that came with your iPhone or iPod Touch? Check out this post to learn about the alternative apps you have for replacing them.
